Our location is ideal for guests looking for the comfort of thermal spas. Podhájska is only 11 km away, with its unique mineral water similar to that of the Dead Sea.

A few kilometres further is the Margita-Ilona spa, and a little to the south lies Santovka, whose mineral water was, a few decades ago, a byword for mineral water in Slovakia. For a day trip, visit the popular Vadaš thermal spa in Štúrovo, just a short hop from our southern neighbour, Hungary.

If you enjoy cultural and historical sights, the Tekov region has plenty to offer. Visit the district town of Levice, 16 km away. Its pride and oldest historic monument is a stone castle from the end of the 13th century, which houses the Tekov Museum with a permanent exhibition open to the public.

Continue your journey into history with unique folk architecture: the rock dwellings in Brhlovce or the Bohunice watermill in the beautiful setting of the Štiavnica Mountains.

Nature lovers can enjoy the Mlyňany Arboretum, one of the largest of its kind in Central Europe. It lies beyond the town of Vráble, about 20 km from us. Its unique collection of mostly wild-growing exotic trees, with winding paths and ponds, is sure to charm you.

From there, head to the bison reserve near Topoľčianky, where you can best see Europe's largest mammal at feeding time, between 8.00 and 9.00 or 13.00 and 14.00.

Simply set off by bike to discover the region on the easy surrounding terrain, or head for one of the sights listed above.

And if you are travelling for work rather than on holiday, Mochovce, Levice and Vráble are all close by.
